Here With Me

Be With Me is the story of Emma Rowan, a neurotic fantasy artist and the man she calls her dragon. Between them, their issues and conflicts are legion--an empire of horror and cruelty once ruled by the dragon's father that is now in Mica's hands, insanity fears, lies, lost souls, murder, death, a mysterious and damaged man who won't allow anyone to see his eyes, a 17-year old daughter the dragon never knew was his, a grieving widow, the dreaded List of Emma's, betrayal, one brother with a death wish for Emma, along with the dragon's brother who would sooner put his fist through his face than ever look at him again, an unlikely friendship between Emma and a 6'8 giant named after a small white bird (Dov), along with Emma's innate ability to plan herself right into trouble. All this on top of the problem of the dragon leaving her once before--the morning after he took her virginity.

While Emma fights to prove to her dragon that he isn't evil, she has to struggle with the knowledge her father ingrained in her since she was four years old--that she'd drive anyone she allowed herself to love insane, the way she drove her mother to the mental institute. Meanwhile, Mica has the weight of his father's reign of terror resting on his shoulders, along with the knowledge that when he sold his soul at eleven, he became someone he hated to keep his litle brother and baby sister safe. When their pasts catch up with them, their only choice is to believe in not only each other, but in the person the other sees inside of them despite all their fears, or both of them will fall off the edge forever.
